1.1 How Do I Proceed Through Checkout?

Once you are happy with what you have in your Shopping Cart just click the green "Checkout" button and follow the onscreen instructions.

Step 1 of 3 - Delivery Information: Here you can enter an alternative Shipping Address if you wish. To do this just click the green "Change Address" button. Once you are happy with the delivery information we have just click the "Continue Checkout" button.

Step 2 of 3 - Payment Information: Here you have the chance to enter any discount voucher codes and gift certificates you may have. Select the Payment Method you wish to use and click the "Continue Checkout" button.

Step 3 of 3 - Order Confirmation: Here you can review all the details of your order. Once happy with the details given click the green "Confirm Order".

If you chose to pay by Credit Card/Debit Card you will be transferred to our Secure Credit Card System provided by Protx (www.protx.com) to give your card details. If you have chosen to pay by Paypal you will be transferred to Paypal (www.paypal.com).

1.2 How Do I Convert The Prices To My Currency?

You are welcome to order from most countries, we have customers Worldwide and dispatch goods daily to all places around the globe.

We now have a built-in currency converter on the website that will display all the prices in the following currencies: British Pounds (£), US Dollars, Australian Dollars and Euros. All you need to do is go to www.saladltd.co.uk/catalog, if you look on the right hand side of the page you will see a green box with "Currencies" written in white, if you click on the drop down box and select US Dollars all of the products we have will now be displayed in US Dollars.

If you would like our prices in other currencies then the best way to get a very close approximate price in your local currency is to use www.xe.com/ucc/ which is a currency converter that will use the most current exchange rate to change the price from British Pounds to your currency. I cannot give you exact prices in your currency as they depend on the current exchange rate and the rate your specific card company/Paypal uses.

The price for Shipping Worldwide is £5.25 (regardless of the size of your order) so just add that to the price of the products you would like to order and then use the currency converter I mentioned above to calculate your price

1.3 How Can I Pay For My Order?

We take many forms of payment here at Salad.

Credit/Debit Card: Mastercard, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Switch/Maestro and Solo cards are all accepted through our secure online payment system supplied by Protx (www.protx.com)

Protx has achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI). Protx adheres to the most stringent levels of fraud screening, ensuring that your customer's details remain secure throughout the transaction process.

Paypal: With PayPal, you can shop online securely and conveniently using your debit or credit card, bank account or PayPal balance – all without sharing your financial details with the seller. It’s also an easy way to receive payments online from the sender’s card or bank account, in the UK or abroad. Plus, it’s free to send money and to sign up for an account.

Check/ Money Order: For those of you who do not have credit cards you can also pay by Check or Money Order. Those of you who live overseas can pay using an International Money Order, available from most Post Offices. If you decide to use this method then we would advise you send the funds recorded delivery as we cannot be responsible for lost post. Once we have received your cleared payment we will dispatch your order. Checks can take up to 5 working days to clear. 1.4 Why Has My Credit/Debit Card Been Declined?

If your card payment has been declined then it can be due to a number of different reasons:

  1. You have incorrectly entered your card details
  2. There are not sufficient funds in your account to complete your purchase
  3. You have exceeded your credit limit / monthly credit allowance
  4. The billing address given does not match the billing address of your card
  5. You have been subject to a random fraud check by your bank

Unfortunately when this happens we cannot tell you which reason has caused the payment decline as we are not told. If it because of a random fraud check then you will not be able to process your payment until you have spoken to your card provider.




1.5 What Are Salad Instalment Plans?

Our web-developers have come up with a great new way for you to pay for Salad products. For all orders over £57 the Salad Instalment Plan appears as a Payment Method option. The instalment plan option allows you to spread the total cost of your order over 6 monthly payments to Salad.

Please note that by selecting this option you are agreeing to us taking 6 payments from the credit/debit card details provided by you. There is no charge or interest payable on this. The total amount payable is just split into 6 easy monthly payments.

 



1.6 How Do I Use A Voucher Code?

Sometimes we give out discount coupons for our customers to redeem money off certain products or orders. If you are lucky enough to have one of these discount codes then all you need to do is enter the code when you reach “Step 2 of 3 – Payment Information” when proceeding through Checkout. This will apply the discount to your order.

1.7 The Screen Crased When I Went To Pay, What Should I Do?

Firstly, don’t panic. If the screen crashed whilst you were attempting to go through checkout then it is highly unlikely any payment will have been taken, our credit card system is designed to abort payments that are not completed in full. The best thing to do in this situation is to send an email to Serena at info@saladltd.co.uk explaining what has happened and she will check the card system to make sure no charges have been made to your card.
