Judith DeLozier is an original co-developer of the field in NLP and has made fundamental contributions to the development of many core NLP models and processes. In her 30 years of training and working with NLP all over the world she has particularly championed ideas that relate to culture, community, personal congruence, trans-cultural skills and more systemic and relational approaches. Judith's background is originally in anthropology and religious studies and her love of dance (ballet and Congolese) has led her to promote movement and the body as a primary tool in NLP - leading to the creation with Robert Dilts of Somatic Syntax.
Judith DeLozier was there when founding document of NLP - The Structure of Magic – was only a manuscript and the term “NLP” hadn't yet been conceived. Judith has , therefore, seen NLP grow from the Meta and Milton Models to the phenomenon it is today. In fact, many of the developments in NLP can be attributed to Judith's dilligence and research.
As an author in the field, Judith has co-authored some of the seminal works in the field of NLP, often alongside Richard Bandler and John Grinder. Most notably she contributed to Neuro-Linguistic Programming Vol. I and Patterns of the Hypnotic Techniques of Milton H Erickson M.D. Volumes I and II.
