for the third time during 2009.
Ms
Hall has been training NLP for over 25 years,
and collaborated with Richard Bandler for 10
years (5 of them as his apprentice & protege).
During that time, their collaborations produced
many of the most well-known developments of NLP,
including: Submodalities, The Swish Pattern,
The Compulsion Blowout Technique
& many others.
In
addition, she was instrumental in the creation
of many of the Sleight of Mouth patterns,
one of the most powerful tools there is for
conversational belief change.
It’s her brilliance in using and teaching
language skills that Chris Hall is most well
known for. With Salad, we want to put the 'L'
back into NLP, so that’s a big part of why we’re
so thrilled to have her training with us.
This will be only the second time Chris Hall has
delivered NLP Trainer Training in the UK. The
course starts in February, 2008.

This Week's Tip...
How to Have a Wonderful Holiday - Part 2
Last week, I hope you took some time to go through my “closing the year”
process - it's a powerful way to start the New Year. This week I'm going to
continue sharing the “self-care” mindsets I've been learning from Bill
Cumming (www.oneperson.net). In this article, you're going to discover
another of the simple mindsets that can connect you with the source of a
deep sense of wellbeing you can bring into your day during the holiday
season & beyond.
In this article, we'll be playing with the idea that everything is
interconnected, including you.
A few years ago, following my divorce, I decided to improve my “abilities”
with women. Among other things, this involved me being more spontaneous & in
the moment, getting into my body & being more playful. One of the
unanticipated benefits of this was that my relationships with my daughters
started improving significantly. Improving the way I related to women in
general improved the way I related to ALL the women in my life.
This is just one example of the way things are interconnected, but there are
many more:
- If you use Facebook, you may already have been shocked to discover some of
the people you're connected to through your social network.
- Quantum physics suggests that any two particles that come into contact
with each other, stay in contact with each other forever. This could mean
you're still connected to all the people you've ever made contact with.
- The book “A Course in Miracles” suggests that all minds are connected.
Have you ever had the experience of thinking of someone you haven't seen in
years, then they call you within a day or two?
- Systems thinkers model the universe as a complex, dynamic system, where
all the elements of the system are inter-related, & exert subtle yet
powerful influences on each other.
- You can even imagine these influences stretching through time. After all,
you have a connection with countless generations of ancestors, stretching
back through time. The fact that you're connected to them, means they're
connected to you, which means you may also be connected to countless
generations of future descendants that haven't even been born yet.
Stop for a moment, & consider this miracle you've stumbled into...
Isn't it amazing? You're part of this. You're an essential element of this
complex web of interconnections. You might even like to consider that you're
an integral part of it...
- That you're here for a reason
- That you're important
- That you belong here
And even if you don't know what that reason is, you are still fulfilling it,
so you can relax...
